A FRECKLE LOTION.
Pour about a teaspoon of powdered camphor into a bottle and add about 12 times as much olive oil. Shake well, and when dissolved apply the lotion with a wad of cotton wool. Rubbing is unnecessary; merely dab it on. Another remedy that is usually effective is to mix together loz. of lemon juice, quarter of a drachm of powdered borax, half a drachm of sugar. Let it stand in a bottle for three days, when it will be fit for use. Rub gently on to the freckled skin occasionally.
