The Holmglen did not arrive as was expected yesterday, but she should be here from Dunedin to-day to load for Wellington, Wanganui, Nelson and New Plymouth. She is to sail this evening for Lyttelton. The arival of the Storm from the south has been deferred until Monday. She is due to leave Dunedin to-morrow for Oamaru and should work at Timaru on Monday evening. She will load for Wellington, Picton, Wanganui and New Plymouth. The intercolonial steamer Waikouaiti is due to leave Dunedin to-day for Timaru and should arrive to-morrow morning. She has transhipment cargo to discharge at this port and after loading for her usual Australian ports is to sail on Monday for Lyttelton. The Waipiata also is expected to reach Timaru from Dunedin tomorrow. She is to load for Wellington and Auckland on Monday when she is to sail via Lyttelton and Picton. Taranaki Sails. The Shaw, Savill and Albion vessel Taranaki finished loading frozen meat and general cargo for London 1 at Timaru yesterday and sailed in the evening for Oamaru, where she Will continue loading. Maimoa Sails To-day. It is expected the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Maimoa, which is loading meat and general cargo at No. 1 wharf for Home will clear this port today when she is due to proceed to Lyttelton. Larger Than Otranto. The new Orient liner which is under construction by Vickers, Armstrong, Ltd., for the Australian service is to be the premier unit of the fleet, being about 3,000 tons larger than the 20,000 ton Otranto. The vessel, whioh is expected to make her maiden voyage to Sydney next year, is equipped with flre-extinguishing sprinklers in each cabin. Hororata Leaves London. Cabled advice has been received by the New Zealand Slipping Company that the Hororata left London on May 10 for Suva, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and New Plymouth. She is due at Lyttelton on June 22. Port Napier Passes Cape. The Port Napier, en route from London, in ballast, passed the Cape of Good Hope on the afternoon of May 13. She is due in New Zealand to load Homewards on June 10.
