GUARDING AGAINST CARRIAGE BY AEROPLANES.

Stringent regulations have been framed.by the Commonwealth Department of Health to obviate the introduction of infectious diseases by means of aeroplanes and airships, particularly from the East. Pilots must notify the time of their arrival and produce a certificate showing that passengers are free from infectious disease, also that aeroplanes were sprayed at the last port. Passengers must also produce a certificate that they have been successfully vaccinated and give an undertaking to notify the Health Department if they become sick within 18 days after arrival. The regulations do not apply to New Zealand.
