ALADDIN NOMINATED FOR V.R.C. NATIONALS. Special to *' The Herald " CHRISTCHURCH, May 17. Aladdin was nominated this week lor the Victoria Grand National Hurdles and Steeplechase. In his few experiences over Riccarton fences he shapes like being a steeplechaser of the highest class if he only remains sound, but this looks extremely doubtful. It was only in a remote hope that he might stand a preparation that he was entered for the Melbourne races. *
