CANADA’S BUDGET
APPROVAL BY HOUSE OF COMMONS.
United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received May 16, 5.5 pm.) OTTAWA, May 15. The Budget passed the House -of Commons to-night after an amendment tabled by the Progressive Labour Party was defeated by 157 votes to 14. One other progressive amendment and two Liberal amendments had previously been ruled out of order by the Speaker (Hon. George Black).
