REASON FOR WOOL SHORTAGE GERMANY PROCEEDS WITH RE-ARMING

April 12. “The Daily Express” says: “The sudden wool shortage in Germany is due to the immense demand for uniforms of all, descriptions for the military, the storm troops, the voluntary labour corps, the workers front, and the new anti-aircraft force. Herr Hitler and General von Blomberg (Minister of Defence) are spending a holiday aboard the pocket battleship Deutschaland. It is believed now that military rearmament is practically an accomplished fact and that attention is to be directed to the navy and the airforce.
