COMPETITION VERY ERRATIC

MOST DESCRIPTIONS EASIER By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, March 27. At the third and final Auckland wool sale of the 1933-1934 season, the offering totalled 15,833 bales. There was a full bench of buyers, but competition was erratic owing principally to the lack of bidding by German buyers. Approximately 70 per cent, of the offering was sold at auction. Wools not affected by the lack of German competition were firm on prices at recent southern sales, but otheirs were easier. In general wools 50’s and over were about on a par, 48’s and under were Id to Id easier, and lambs wool was about Id to lid below recent New Zealand sales. Range of Prices. The range of prices was as follows, March, 1933 values being shown also for purposes of comparison.
