Appreciative comment was made by a speaker at the annual meeting of the New Plymouth Choral Society of the singing of the choir organised by the society for the ceremony at “Brooklands” last Saturday. Reference was made to the small number of men in the choir, but the speaker added: “It was wonderful to hear the noise those few men made.” (Laughter.)
