UNREST IN SAMOA
COMING TRIAL OF HON. O. F. NELSON. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received December 13, 7.15 p.m.) APIA, December 12. Counsel for the Hon. O. F. Nelson made application to the High Court to-day for a hearing before assessors. The Crown prosecutor produced affidavits supporting the contention that the case was unsuitable for trial before assessors owing to the difficulty of political bias on both sides. The application was refused. The trial is expected to commence on Thursday, December 14, before the Chief Judge.
