SOUTH CANTERBURY CLUB The executive of the South Canterbury Amateur Athletic Club met on Monday. Present. —Messrs Mcßae (chairman), Cameron. Eaton. Harper, O’Leary. Turner and Hetherington. It was decided that if a competitor gains more than 5 points at cup meetings that the remaining points are to count for a further cup. That is. if a competitor gains two first places <6pts) he can claim his cup with the 5 points, and the remaining point is to count for his next cup. The next meeting is to be held on January 18. probably at the Caledonian grounds. The events are:—loo yards, 440 yards, one mile B grade, relay and high jump.
