Mr G. V. Hudson, of Karorl, has been awarded a special Sldey medal and prize In recognition of his past work in connection with daylight saving. The award was made by the board of governors of the New Zealand Institute, at the desire of the family of the founder of the Sldey Summertime Memorial. In accepting the honour. Mr Hudson intimated his desire to relinquish the medal awarded to him by the institute in May.
