HIGH SCHOOL OLD BOYS' ASSOCIATION
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. A meeting of the executive of the High School Old Bovs’ Association was held on Friday evening, Mr A. J. Allport presiding over the following members—Messrs R. A. Johnson, A. Altken. H. Washbourn, A. Lawson, B. Richards, V. Bishop, R. Morrison and J. W. Lennon (secretary). In wishing all a very successful and pleasant term of office, Mr Allport extended a welcome to the newlyelected members, and congratulated those of last year’s executive on their return to office. A donation of 10 6 was made towards the funds of the Health Camp Committee. On behalf of the sub-committee set up to finally decide the matter of a new blazer. Mr * Washbourn reported that a new monogram on heraldic principles was being designed. and would be completed within a few days. Samples of blazer cloth were being obtained from New Zealand mills, and these would shortly be to hand. It was decided that the Association retain full control of badges and buttons, and that it be recommended to the sub-committee to ex{>edite matters as much as possible. Letters of congratulation were sent to those kindred Old Boys’ Associations whose members were chosen as the three 1933 Rhodes Scholars.
