Nazism’s paternal care of the nation is further illustrated by a decree granttag fathers of four children, a 15 per cent cut of income tax, and 30 per cent for five children or more. It is announced that the marriage loan resulted in 100,000 marriages. As Germany is forbidden military aeroplanes, another decree exhorts private firms to improve the population's aerial defence by means.of bombproof cellars, alarm systems, and plentiful gas masks, the full cost of which will be deducted from the income tax. It is not only confirmed that German engineers and specialists are leaving Russia under the Soviet's orders, but the Reich has ordered Consuls throughout Russia to instruct Germans of all types to return to the Fatherland forthwith.
