Mason) was read a second time pro forma, and referred to the Labour Bills Committee. Th« Orders-in-Council Confirmation 11111 (Rev. Clyde Carr) and the Fire Insurance Companies Liability Bill (Mr A. M. Samuel) were read a second time (HO forma, and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. The. Workers Compensation Amendment Bill, which had been introduced by Mr )i. K Holland, was, at the suggestion or the Prime Minister, read a second time pro forma, and referred to the Labour Hills Committee. LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL By Telogranh laiusclnuoa WELLINGTON. October 20. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Nurses and Midwives Registration Amendment BUI. the National Art Gallery "nd Dominion Museum Amendment Bill and Judication Amendment Bill were put through their remaining stages and passed.
