Miss Esther Seay, Fairlie, is staying with Miss Kathleen Kerr, Geraldine. Mr and Mrs J. Cowans (West Eyreton), are staying at the Grand. Mrs A. S. Elworthy, Holme Station, is on a short visit to Wellington. Mrs H. B. Patrick, Dunedin, will arrive to-day to stay with Mrs E. Howden, Park Lane. Mr and Mrs C. Schann, Dunedin, are staying with Mrs E. T. Frowde, Bidwill Street. Mr and Mrs Innes Clissold, Christchurch, will arrive to-day to stay with Mrs R. Clissold, North Street. Miss Hunter-Weston and her guest Mrs R. Fulton. Dunedin, who are staying at "Highthorne,” will return to Dunedin to-morrow. The Ven. Archdeacon and Mrs H. W. Monaghan. The Vicarage, Theodocia Street, who are on a visit to Christchurch, will return home to-day. Mrs Clifford Jones, who is staying with Mrs W. Thomas. The Rectory, North Street, will leaVe to-day for Christchurch. Miss Mary Rolleston, LeCren's Terrace, is spending a few days with Mrs H. B. S. Johnstone, “Springbank,” Otaio. Rear Admiral F. Burges Watson. D. 5.0.. and Mrs Burges Watson, who are staying at the Empire will spend the week-end camping at the Ashburton Gorge. At a meeting of the Timaru Horticultural Society last night, the chairman (Mr G. E. Knowles) referred to the illness suffered by Mrs A. C. Wigley, and the secretary was asked to send her a letter of sympathy. The engagement is announced of Christiana Ruth, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs C. J..
