PERSONAL
Mr H. G. Redman, assistant superintendent of the Adelaide tramways, arrived at Auckland by the Niagara this week on a holiday visit. Messrs W. J. Black. A. Ward, and A. P. Campbell returned to Timaru yesterday from Christchurch, where they attended a meeting in connection with the Wheat Pool. Mr W. Drake, who has been postmaster at Newton for the last two and a-half years, has been transferred on promotion to be postmaster at Cambridge. He will take up his new duties at the end of this month. Mr P. E. S. Long, general secretary of the Timaru Y.M.C.A.. leaves to-day for Wellington, where he will attend a Y.M.C.A. Secretariat Conference and act as a judge at the annual gymnastic championships of the Y.M.C.A. of New Zealand.
