PEEL FOREST

THE CRICKET CLUB FIRST ANNUAL MEETING The first annual meeting of the Peel Forest Cricket Club was held in the Library on Monday evening. Mr F. Cain presided over a fair attendance. The secretary, Mr D. G. Rutherford, presented the annual report and balance sheet, which showed that the club had had a most satisfactory first eason. Seven matches were played, five being won. and two lost. The batting and bowling averages were as follows:—Batting: F. Cain 22.6, B. Bates 17.1, C. Kerr 17, Y. Robinson 10.1. Bowling: T.
