To tie Editor of " The Timaru Herald ” Sir, —I am amused at Mr. Oakey accusing me of subterfuge. I stated that the suggestion that his Club courts were overcrowded, was based on tie statement made by his own delegate at the Association's meeting on the 9th inst. Mr. Oakey’s reply is an interesting, if not convincing dissertation on Tennis Club accomodation Whose is the subterfuge? I am pleased to learn that since the 9th Inst, the strain on the Aorangi courts has sufficiently relaxed, to permit of C grade competitions.
