GERALDINE FLAT.
There was a good attendance at the opening of the Geraldine Flat tennis courts, visitors being present from a number of the surrounding clubs. The president, Mr J. C. South extended a hearty welcome to the visitors, and hoped that everyone would have an enjoyable afternoon. After Mrs South had served the first ball, the president declared the courts open, play being continued till dark. Afternoon tea was served by the ladles. Mr T. Langrell, Clandeboye, on behalf of the visitors returned thanks to the members of the Geraldine Flat Club for the enjoyable afternoon, and wished It every success during the coming season.
