DECISIONS OF INTEREST. 1 eiearapn Pre*? Association WELLINGTON. October 16 At the monthly meeting of the Rural Intermediate Credit Board, the Commissioner. Mr J. W. MacDonald, submitted a report on the conference between principal district representatives and tlie executive officers of the head office, held recently In Wellington. A number of recommendations of the conference were agreed to by the Board, including one which delegates to a limited extent to district Boards the power 10 approve the postponement of principal payments. The Board also approved an extension of power to district organisations in re-advanc-ing the proceeds of stock and produce sold subject to limits as to the amounts involved and certain necessary safeguards. It further approved of the proposal to increase the powers of district supervisors in respect of loans granted by the Board direct to farmers.
