It was left to the president and secretary to interview the police in regard to assisting, and Mr Mcßae was appointed the Association's parking officer. * Flock Ewe Competition. Regarding the flock ewe hogget competition, Mr Harper brought up the question of a farmer having two distinct types of sheep. Did he have to show 20 per cent, of the total or only 20 per cent, of either flock or two entries, one.from each if he wished. Mr Blair said he thought the farmer was called to show only 20 per cent, of each distinct flock. It was decided that for this year an exhibitor could not make an entry from one division of a flock, but he could make an entry from each division. making in all 20 per cent, of the whole flock. On account of last year's show finishing rather early, it was decided to revert to the former practice of holding the stock parade at 2.30 p.m., the jumping events to follow 7 . It was agreed to call a conference of other bodies at present sharing the rent of the rooms, as in the opinion of the executive committee the Society is being charged too high a proportion of the gross rental.
