SANCTIONED IN BENGAL United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph—Copyright CALCUTTA, September 15. The Bengal Government has given permission to the Calcutta Port Commissioners to proceed with the new Howrah bridge project, at a cost of approximately £2,000,000.
