BANDIT RAIDS
STRONG PROTEST BY SOVIET United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright MOSCOW, September 15. The Soviet has protested to Manchukuo regarding the bandits’ raids on Chinese on the Eastern Railway, demanding urgent measures for the release of those captured on September 10, when a train was wrecked and looted near Pograntichraya, the passengers and crew kidnapped, 60 passengers, including women and children, being carried to the hills.
