CHALLENGE TO THE LEGION.
To the Editor of " The Timaru Herald " Sir,—"The Laughable Legion,” has not replied to my challenge to name a single public works that has been carried out for party reasons. Such a whispering scandal-monger-ing crowd should be regarded with contempt by all right minded citizens. —I am, etc., ARISTOPHANES.
