REICHSTAG FIRE
TRIAL FIXED FOR NEXT MONTH United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright BERLIN, August 24. The Reichstag fire trial will open at Leipzig on September 21, after preliminary sessions at the scene. The prosecution is calling over 100 witnesses and experts. The indictment consists of a volume of 250 pages. The judges have already read 35 thick bundles of documents. "The Borsen Zeitung” reports that Torgler. has chosen the leading Nazi lawyer, Herr Alfons Sack, to defend him on the charge of firing the Reichstag.
