GERMANY’S NEIGHBOUR PROTESTS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, August 16. The Paris correspondent of “The Times” says that the Metz, Colmar and Strassburg Chambers of Commerce have protested to the Government against the influx of German refugees in the Eastern Departments, totalling 40,000, whose competition threatens local traders and floods the labour markets. The position is becoming worse daily.
