1,000 eggs MORE from same birds! Here is a most interesting letter. It comes from a poultry breeder who —to use his own words—“never has been a believer in spices of any description." And then, on a flock of 150 two-year-old hens which he was just going to kill, he thought he would try Karswood Poultry Spice ( containing ground insects). The result was that at the end of 7 weeks he had over a thousand eggs more than he ever expected. He writes:— ' * Until 1 bought a 28 lb. tin of Karswood 1 had never been a believer in spices of any description. At the time I bought Karswood 1 had about 150 two-year-old liens (f never keep birds after 2 years ) and was just about to kill them off. I had bem collecting only 20 to 30 eggs per day from these birds. Within 3 weeks of starting on Karswood the supply went up to 60 to 70 eggs per day. Therefore 1 calculate that Karswood saved me over 1,000 extra eggs during 7 weeks , which 1 should not have had in the ordinary course of events. — Original letter on file for inspection. Karswood Poultry Spice is obtainable from all wholesalers and stores at the following standard retail prices: slb. packet, price 1/2; lib. packet, price 2/3; 71b. tin, price 14/-; 281 b. tin, price 50/-.
