BASKETBALL. At Winchester on Thursday, the Winchester team beat Geraldine by 18 goals to 9. Mr J. L. White was referee.

FRIENDLY THURSDAYS. The second series of matches in the “Friendly Thursdays” card tournament was played in the Library on Thursday evening, Country playing Library, and Ladies playing Citizens. Following were the results of play:—

RIFLE CLUB. The Winchester Men’s Miniature Rifle Club held their weekly shoot on Wednesday, when J. Stevenson won Mr T. H. Langford’s trophy. W. Priddle was the winner of the button.
