DEADLY ENGINE OF WARFARE SPEED EXCEEDS FIFTY MILES HOURLY United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright (Received June 23, 10.0 p.m.) LONDON, June 23. The Paris correspondent of “The Daily Mail” says: "The latest French war craft is manned by only four men, but the vessel carries seven torpedoes, which can be discharged from any point, though the method is not disclosed.” The vessel is described as a kind of speed boat, driven by two 1100 h.p. engines, at a speed that exceeds fifty miles an hour.
