PRINCE WARNED
EDICT BY EX-KING ALFONSO. MARRIAGE MEANS DISINHERITANCE. LAUSANNE, June 5. The announcement that the banns have been published for the marriage of ex-King Alfonso’s eldest son, the Infante Don Alfonso, to a Cuban girl, Senorita De San Pedro, has caused some surprise as it is known that the Prince suffers from haemophilia, a constitutional tendency to bleeding. King Alfonso long ago warned the Prince that he would be disinherited in the event of his marriage. The Prince is reported to have said that his Royal rights count for nothing with him. He intends to act as an ordinary citizen.
