AGED WOMAN’S DEATH. B 7 Telegraph Association DUNEDIN, May 15. An elderly woman named Mary Wilson Cottle, was found dead at her residence at Moat Street on Saturday afternoon. She had hanged herself in the kitchen of the house. According to evidence brought out at an inquest conducted by Mr J. R. Bartholomew. S.M., to-day, it was stated that deceased, who was over over seventy, had been in bad health for some time.
The verdict was that deceased committed suicide by hanging, owing to a depressed state of mind due to illhealth.
