CHICKENPOX
OUTBREAK ON TRAINING SHIP. By TeletfrßDh —**ress Association AUCKLAND, January 18. A mild outbreak of chickenpox occurred during the voyage of the steamer Cornwall, which arrived from Liverpool to-day. The vessel is a training ship for officers, and carries thirty-four cadets, who are utilised as seamen. Three cadets contracted the complaint and were isolated on boa’d by the ship’s doctor. The patients were convalescent when the steamer arrived, and were taken to hospital for further medical attention.
