Air-Commodore Sir Charles Kings lord Smith studying, in his home at Bellovue Hill, Sydney, a glebe of the world, on which his famous flights are traced by a gold wire. The globe, surmounted by a gold model of the Southern Cross, was presented to “Smithy” by the New South Wales, Victorian, West Australian and Queensland divisions of the Australian Flying Corps' Association.
