GOLDFIELD AWARD
QUESTION IN HOUSE OF COMMONS. British Official Wireless (Received December 22, 5.5 pjn.) RUGBY, December 21. Replying in the House of Commons to a question regarding the Lena Goldfield Award Captain R. A. Eden (Under Secretary for Foreign Affairs), said that the Foreign Secretary had the matter under consideration but had been prevented by a recent illness from dealing with it as he had intended. He hoped that when the House met again Sir John Simon would be able to announce such actio* as had been taken meantime.
