CEREAL CENSUS
COMPARISON WITH LAST YEAR’S STOCKS. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, December 22. A census of stocks of flour, wheat and oats in the Dominion was taken as at 30th November, 1932, when the following quantities were returned:— Flour, 13,482 tons. Wheat, 1,360,052 bushels (including 1,216,027 bushels of milling wheat). Oats, 841,248 bushels. Returns were received covering all stocks owned or stored by millers, merchants, and farmers, throughout the Dominion, with a few unimportant exceptions, which would not appreciably affect the totals given. The corresponding figures for last year were: Flour, 11,037 tons. Wheat, 1.855,787 bushels. Oats, 747.177 bushels.
