CABINET CRISIS IN JAPAN.
Sick Premier Collapses. ACTIVITIES OF OPPOSITION PARTIES. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright (Received April 11, 12.5 a.m.) KOBE, April 10. After courageously facing heckling In the Diet, the wounded Premier (Mr Hamaguch) collapsed after the adjournment and is undergoing a further operation. This, added to the Government’s acknowledged financial failure, decided the Cabinet to-day to tender its resignation. It is considered impossible that the Opposition will succeed owing to the fewness of its members. Therefore it is believed that Mr Wataksuki will unwillingly return, though Baron Ogati’s supporters and Baron Adachi’s henchmen are busy endeavouring to secure their nomination. The Government’s necessity to issue bonds, despite no borrowing declarations, is a large factor compelling the resignation.
