PRIVILEGE TO CEASE. By Telegraph—Pres« Aaaoclatlon WELLINGTON, April 10. One of the earliest pieces of evidence of Government economy Is a notice that the long service increment of £9 per year to officers of the General Division of the Public Service, receiving not more than £IBO per year, has been terminated. This benefit to the lower-paid officers has been in operation for eighteen years.
