DUE TO TETANUS. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND. April 10. A verdict that death was due to tetanus was returned by the Coroner at an inquest concerning the death of Freda Aloma West, aged 16i, who died at Auckland Hospital on March 23. Dr W. Gilmour, pathologist of Auckland Hospital. who made a post mortem, said that from the history of the case death was due either to tetanus or poison. It was possible deceased contracted tetanus from some very small wound or scratch several days before the effects of the malady became apparent.
