CHICHESTER’S FLIGHT.

MAY BE RESUMED. By Teleffraph—Press Association WELLINGTON. April 10. Completion of the trans-Tasman flight by Chichester, which was brought to a sudden suspension by the capsizing of his seaplane at Lord Howe Island, is foreshadowed in a cable received by his business partner, Mr G. D. M. Goodwin, to-day. Chichester’s cable stated that the machine was not so seriously damaged by the mishap as was at first believed. • The main damage which was suffered 1 was the breaking of 27 wing ribs.. He i is sending the two wings to Sydney j for repair, and is hopeful that he will be able to resume the flight.
