BIGGER LINERS.
NEW CUNARDER BUILDING. (Received April 9, 10.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 9. The contract for the second Cunarder costing £6,000,000, will shortly be given to Messrs John Browns, of Glasgow. The liner is expected to be named Britannia. The vessel is not being specially designed to recover the Atlantic speed record. The board considers that regularity of service, in all weathers, combined with the last word in the safety and. comfort of passengers, are most essential.
