75th REUNION OF OLD BOYS. Telegrapn—**ress Association NELSON, April 4. The large assembly hall of Nelson College was well filled to-day, when visiting old boys were accorded a hearty welcome to the 75th anniversary reunion. Mr C. H. Broad, Principal of the College, said old students would notice great changes in the school over a number of years, the latest being the erection of houses for boarders, which he considered marked a new era in the school’s history, as a boarding institution. Mr F. Hamilton, chairman of the Council of Governors, thanked old boys for their loyalty to their old school. He thanked old boys for sending sons to the school of their fathers. The College was now the largest boarding college of its kind in the Dominion. Mr W. C. Harley, president of the Old Boys’ Association, returned thanks for the welcome . Sports matches of various took place in the afternoon. SEVENTY-FIFTH RE-UNION. By Telegraph—Press Association NELSON, April 5. The greatest of enthusiasm marked the 75th re-union of Nelson College at a smoke concert held in the College Assembly Hall on Saturday evening. The Nelson Old Boys’ Association in various parts of New Zealand was well represented. Mr W. C. Harley (president), Mr A. Fair K.C., Mr C. H. Broad, Mr F. Milner C.M.G., Mr F. Hamilton, and Dr Evans, of Canterbury College were the principal speakers. Three original pupils John Black. H. J. Lewis (Nelson), and T. Harley (Wellington), have attended the reunion.
