MAIL BAG ROBBERY.
£IOOO DISAPPEARS. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph —Copyright (Received, March 20, 9.45 p.m.) BRISBANE. March 20. A thousand pounds in treasury notes mysteriously disappeared from a registered mail bag, which was despatched from Townville. When the bagreached Cloncurry, the seals apparently were intact, but a packet containing the money was missing. Three years ago, the same bank, the Queensland National, lost £SOOO in transit to Melbourne.
