OBITUARY.
J. R. SAMSON. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, March 19. To-day In a private hospital the death occurred of Mr John Robert Samson. Prior to retirement he was Director of Repatriation. Born at Alexandra, Central Otago, 55 years ago. deceased was educated at Otago. Boys’ High School, and entered the Public Service in the Government Life Insurance Department when 17 years of age. During the war he was placed at the head of the Repatriation Department, and upon its work being ended he retired.
