HARSH SENTENCES PASSED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright MADRID, March 18. A tabulated list of the Huesca court martial verdicts shows that the sentences on 26 officers total 412 years. The chief penalties are two lieutenants’ life terms, one ensign 30 years, seven lieutenants each 20 years, ten each 12 years, and others three years downwards. Sedlle’s Is the only death sentence. KING TO RETURN. TO COMMUTE DEATH SENTENCE. United Press Association—By Elactrlo Telegraph— Copyright LONDON, March 18. In response to a telephone message from Madrid Socialists, King Alfonso has promised to return to Spain Immediately, to commute the death sentence on Captain Sedlle.
