HOCKEY.
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Management Committee of the South Canterbury Hockey Association was held on Tuesday evening. Present.—Messrs W. Gow (chairman), L. Davies, G. Annear, R. Rennett, A. Stonyer and the secretary (Mrs Morrison). An apology for absence was received from Mr Dockrill. Correspondence was received from the Geraldine and New Zealand Associations. The secretary reported that the shield presented by Messrs Walker and Hall, of Shefield, had arrived, and that a keen competition for it was expected during the coming season. It was decided to call the annual meeting for April 14th. At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr Davies on behalf of the Committee, expressed thanks to the chairman and secretary for their work and help during the past season.
