INVESTIGATIONS IN AUSTRALIA. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 10, 12.20 a.m.) CANBERRA, March 9. It is reported that the Federal Comm'ssioner of Taxation is beginning an investigation into the flight of capital from Australia. The investigation will include the purchase of New Zealand shares and bonds by sharebrokers, on behalf of clients travelling to America, who realise upon them 'n the Dominion. In this way, people unable to get accommodation from the banks beyond £2OO, have been able to replenish their funds.
