COUNTRY ’BUS FARES.
To the Editor of the “ Timaru Herald.” Sir, —As a visitor to the district, I should like to mention that I travelled from Timaru to Fair lie, a distance of 80 miles (there and back), for 5/-. I also travelled from Timaru to Temuka (24 miles there and back) for 3/-, and then from Timaru to Geraldine (48 miles there and back) for 3/-, with buses belonging to the same firm. Imagine my surprise on being charged the same fare for 24 miles as 48 miles.—l am, etc., WAKE UP TEMUKA.
