FATE OF ROUSE.
PETITION TO HOME SECRETARY. United Press Association—By Eectrlo Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, March 2. A petition bearing 5,000 signatures on behalf of Rouse was handed to the Home Secretary. In view of the public interest, the signatures are remarkably small compared with other unsuccessful petitions of the past, viz., Waters 700,000, and Vaquier 40,000.
