Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate southerly, changing to easterly; weather fine. Dominion Meteorologist. An anti-cyclone still covers the Tasman Sea and New Zealand, with its centre west of Puysegur Point. Pressure is relatively low to the east and north-east of the Dominion. Expect moderate to strong winds between south-east and south-west, squally at times south of Castlepoint. Seas rough south of East Cape and in Cook Strait, with a heavy southerly swell; elsewhere moderate. Weather mainly fine in western districts; elsewhere cold, and at times cloudy, with scattered showers, more especially in eastern districts south of East Cape.
