SLED-PARTY’S TRAGIC MISTAKE. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright BUCHAREST, February 18. A magistrate and a priest, in the village of Paramurai, were driving in a sled, when a pack of wolves, driven from the mountains by severe weather, followed the trail. The men drove off the first attack, shooting two wolves. The pack then fled, but the magistrate and priest left the sled to secure the wolves’ carcases, leaving their rifles behind. The frightened horses bolted when the wolves returned.
A rescue party found the men’s skeletons.
